Adult ADHD... UGH!

So... my doctor diagnosed me a few months ago with ADHD. Lets add it to my LONG list of health issues... : ) Well, I didn't want to believe it, but every way he described it fit me EXACTLY!! Ugh. So I have been on Adderall and it is actually helping me be able to focus on things much better and make it so that I don't get so completely overwhelmed with things I have to do!! YAY! Before I would put off showering or even brushing my teeth just because they overwhelmed me so badly... Pretty sad, huh. But things are improving and it is helping me with the most important aspect of my life.... WORKING!! I now have a job (FINALLY) and I don't get my debilitating anxiety, that I ALWAYS get when I have a job, as severely or often! WHICH MAKES ME SOOOO HAPPY AND MY LIFE SO MUCH EASIER! I am praying that I can keep this job for a VERY long time... and when I hit a year mark YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO A PARTY!! : )

YAY! I AM A HARD WORKIN' WOMAN AGAIN! ; )

On October 22, 2011 I was hired by AMC Loews Layton Hills 9 in Layton, Utah!! It is a movie theater and I LOVE IT THERE! I work in the concession stand and sometimes at the podium tearing tickets, but I also am training in the box office and as an usher. The managers are all very nice and treat me awesome! I love all of the people I work with too! Plus seeing EVERY movie for FREE doesn't hurt either....! : )

FINALLY HAVE A CAR IN MY NAME!!

I NEVER THOUGHT THIS WOULD HAPPEN.... But I finally have a car in MY name!! My Uncle Vern bought my dad a red 1998 GMC Jimmy and my dad gave it to me!! I absolutely love it! My family is SO awesome!! Thanks dad and Uncle Vern!!

CAR ACCIDENT!

On August 10, 2011 I got into a serious car accident. I was traveling south on the highway and when I was about to go through an intersection a car turned left in front of me! So I ended up t-boning a car. I didn't even have time to hit my brake so I hit the other car going 35-40mph! The impact made both airbags go off and smashed the whole front end of my car up to the windshield! It bent the car's frame too! My passenger side tire was facing the wrong way after the accident! Unfortunately my car is totalled... They wanted to take me to the hospital by ambulance but I just had my mom take me!! The paramedics laughed since I was more worried about my dog than myself. The vet says he is just fine though! I am very swollen and colorful from the contusions but nothing is broken. Seat belts save lives but they sure do make you hurt!!

Just My Bad Luck!

On Saturday, February 19 I got into a car accident in my mom's van. It had been snowing and so the roads were wet. I was driving on the freeway when I hydroplaned and started fishtailing which had me headed into the car next to me. I tried to correct but ended up smashing into the cement guard rail. The impact threw me across all THREE lanes of traffic and I ended up on the shoulder on the other side of the freeway. Don't ask me how I didn't get hit by any cars while flying into their lanes! Especially since the freeway was so congested due to the bad weather.... when I began fishtailing there were cars all around me! I heard other accident stories on the news and in some of them lives were lost... I thank Heavenly Father that I was kept safe.

My mom's van is pretty banged up and wouldn't drive very good due to the tire rims and tie rods being broken! UGH! Hoepfully this is all that is wrong with it though!!

FINALLY! INTERVIEW TIME!

I have been out of work since November due to the preschool I was at lost kids so they had to let me go! UGH! I have been searching for a job since... but this economy makes it really tough!! BUT FINALLY I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW! It is at Discovery Clubhouse in Riverdale, Utah. It is a preschoool and I would be a FULL TIME teacher! FUN! I can't wait... I realy hope I get this job!! Pray for me!

Valentine's Day is coming quick and I am currently single. UGH! Well I am decorating for the holiday even though my mood isn't quite so festive. :) Well who can complain... chocolates, candy, and valentines! Who needs a guy anyway?!

WELCOME 2011!

Well 2011 is here and with it comes an opportunity to start fresh! I have a goal of losing 70 pounds even if it takes the whole year! Also, Baby Boy will be getting his teeth professionally cleaned this year... hopefully SOON! Hopefully I will be able to move out on my own again this year! GOALS, GOALS, GOALS!! I hope everyone has a great year!

Just My Luck!

My work layed me off due to there not being enough kids to keep the after care program running. They gave me and the parents NO NOTICE! They just called me one morning and said they didn't need me to come in that afternoon. I don't qualify for unemployment either since I had only worked two months. Ugh.... just my luck!

Rudolph?

Baby is so excited for christmas that he decided to be Rudolph for the day! Ha ha... okay he really actually hated these antlers but I think he is adorable! And yes he got a treat for me torturing him! ha ha

Surfer Baby!

Baby was a surfer for Halloween and I think he is the cutest dog ever! It took several treats but I finally got these pics of him in his costume. Oh and instead of going trick or treating I hid several doggy treats around the house and he sniffed them out! He does that for Easter too... ha ha!

TWO MONTHS!

I have worked at Sunrise Montessori for two months now! No panic attacks and I have received two paychecks so far! I know that sounds silly to mention but I have not worked anywhere long enough to get more than my first paycheck since my very first job back in 2005!! So this is a milestone for me! It makes me so happy that I have found a job that I am happy at and that does not raise my anxiety level! I am proving to myself that I can keep a job and support myself!

PANIC FREE!

I have been at Sunrise Montessori for one month now and I HAVE HAD ZERO PANIC ATTACKS!! It makes me so happy that I have found a job that I can keep and not have panic with! Only fifteen hours a week but that is better than nothing!

Sunrise Montessori

Well if you haven't already heard.... my panic attacks started up again after being at State Trailer for about a month. I have no idea what causes them or how to fix them! So I do what I always do... QUIT. But there is a silver lining in this horrible situation. Heather worked at two montessori preschools and her daytime one offered her full time. So she gave her two weeks notice at Sunrise, her afternoon one, where I have subbed for her before. Well they offered ME the JOB!! I of course took it and it is the ONLY job I have ever had that I don't get panic attacks with. It is only three hours a day, five times a week but that is better than nothing! Thanks Heather and thanks Sunrise!!!

ONE MONTH!

So August 16, 2010 I have been at my job for ONE MONTH! I know that doesn't sound like a long time but it is for me. I am doing good at my job and really like working there. The people I work with are fun and I really like my managers. I still get my anxiety pretty bad but I have been working through it and keep going to work. I can't wait to reach longer milestones.

PARTY!

I now have a rainbow shark, three gouramis-two striped and one not, three mollies-silver lyretail, black, and dalmation, three slugs-orange, green, and blue, two african dwarf frogs, and one live plant!! HOLY COW! I love my new tank and my hobby keeps me busy!

FINALLY!

I have been searching for a job for SO LONG! I applied anywhere and EVERYWHERE! I had tons of interviews and finally one resulted in a job!!!! I start Friday, July 16 at State Trailer: RV & Outdoor Supply in Ogden. I will be a cashier which I have tons of experience doing. I am going to LOVE it! Now I am going to be a responsible ADULT! :) Those bills are gonna be a piece of cake now! HA HA!
